Forum Feature Explained: Embedding media

    Although lots of features explain themselves we will explain some useful ones in this forum, one of the interesting ones here is the embedding of various online media.

    This one is far much more easy than ever before, because when you post a link here it will basically automatically be embedded in the post.

    The best way though to post a media link is to use the upload_2014-1-11_16-49-3.png button in the editor... This will bring up a window where you can just add the link


    As you can see there is lots of sites where you can add links from, the only thing to be aware of is if the maker of the video allows the video to be embedded from other sites. Some videos on YouTube for instance are marked not to be embedded, either by the user or sometimes by YouTube.

    If you want to embed manually there is a few codes that you can use in your posts...

    So a few simple examples here...

    A YouTube video...

    A SoundCloud track

    Instagram post by someone... :cigar:

    Or even an album from Spotify (if you are authorized for that...)
